Loved the atmosphere on the grounds with the open-air lobby and tropical landscaping.
The on-site restaurant had excellent food and a view of the pool and ocean. The tiki torch lighting in the evenings with the sound of the conch shell and great entertainer was also very memorable.
All the people in the resort were very friendly and welcoming. E

We liked how close we were to the beach. I left my sliding glass door open all night so I could hear the ocean. Very soothing. There are a lot of places to stay on Maui, I feel that I stayed in the best location!! Easy to get in and out. Hwy 30 just down the street. The staff made it extremely easy to come and go. They weren't pushy, but available when you needed them.

We had a 2nd floor apartment on a 2 storey block - try to ask for the 2 storey buildings when you book. It was fantastic. The location is great, just in front of the beach. We sat on our balcony every night and watched the sun go into the sea and then the sky turn beautiful colours. It was good to be opposite the shops. The view of Molokini Crater, Kahoolawe, and Kameole Two was unparalleled. The morning snorkling off the rocks in front of Hale Pau Hana afforded a great variety of fishes and many green sea turtles. Our unit was superb and the other guests and staff were friendly.

The location is great, having the Whalers village right next door was so convenient with lots of places to eat out.
The beach was lovely, very clean and long enough to walk daily to keep the holiday kilo's down.
We loved our unit, it was spacious and comfortable, it overlooked the village and had a great sea view.

We would definitely recommend the Whaler on Kaanapali Beach. -
Everything about this place is excellent except the pool which is far too small for the amount of guests there are. However as its right on the beach, the ocean and local sea turtles make up for it. The beach is spacious and not crowded. Room is modern, with everything you need. We loved out stay here.

The place itself was absolutely amazing. It was very high end and well
done from the fixtures to the landscaping. The yoga was a great touch
and I loved the fact it didn't feel "Marriott" or
"Hilton" at all. It's next to Pa'ia which was a great
little hippie town with very affordable food. -
Loved the relaxing vibe and the evening meal

The swimming pool complex was amazing and well-suited for both a 1-year-old and an 8-year-old. A great place for a multi-generational family vacation...perfect for families traveling with the grandparents. Everyone had fun! Exceptional staff. Close proximity to beach, restaurants and shopping. Such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The grounds are very well kept and expansive, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and cannot wait to come back!
