  Hotel 140 was a great place to stay for me. I was traveling alone and it was located just a block from the train station. The front desk was great to help me in directions of the city. Very friendly staff. Also after I left and was at the train station having a hard time figuring out which way to go, a young man asked if he could help. He was not at work and I did not recognize him so he could h - Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. Every staff person was amazing and had a smile on their face, the food and service was top notch. We even met the gm Matthew Moore who took the time out of is busy day to congratulate us on our wedding the day before. We will go back every year to celebrate our anniversary. We had an amazing time!

  Very accommodating staff - Located in a quiet side road. Ideal to go shoping by foot. Nice stores (also grocery) close by. As for the rooms it seems to depend on which room you get: I was located 1 block away from Copley House and enjoyed the suite very much.

  Our room was very spacious and had a great kitchenette! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful! The breakfast was excellent and Elena was so sweet and helpful! The pool area is very nice and although we didn't order lunch, you can order lunch at the pool. We loved our stay and would highly recommend! - The landscaped grounds of the PBVR are interesting and beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised that the room we stayed in had been recently renovated. There was a new rug, comfortable beds, and the bathroom was recently retiled. The room was spacious for a family of four. It was nice to have breakfast available on site.

  The outside was super cute with all the flowers and trees and we loved the room! Plus the staff was very friendly. Cant wait to stay there again in the future! - Fantastic staff, GREAT location. This has become our hotel of choice when returning home. Can't recommend them enough.
