I and my husband needed a little getaway and time off from our two kids. After browsing for the best deal we embarked upon Beaconlight Guesthouse. I think it was within average price for most bed and breakfast locations around the area. The location was clean, rooms were clean and i would not complain about the breakfast, although would have preferred hot breakfast but they provide you with yogurt, granola, pastries, coffee, tea, muffins. The Century House is a glorious and historic home within easy walking distance to beaches and shopping. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were very good, but the afternoon cookies were "to die for!" The building, porch (with refreshments) and grounds were always clean and neat.

We love how welcomed we were made to feel the minute we walked through the doors. An amazing experience. The bed was so cozy and comfortable. Fireplace was wonderful on a snowy winter night. The restaurant dining was excellent, one of our top five dining experience. We will return for another stay. -

Breakfast was good cooked breakfast as well as cereals, yoghurts, bagels, toast & cake.
Within walking distance to beach and restaurant's. The Oyster Company was fabulous best meal in 2 weeks of eating out.
