The Hob Knob had beautiful, inviting, comfortably furnished common areas. The large porch and patio were particularly delightful. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Our room was on the small side but had a large private terrace which was lovely. The bathroom had a large spa bath !
Wine and cheese events were fun - I would even say a real hoot one afternoon. Everything was clean - and even had free parking.

This is an old fashioned New England Inn that is being kept up to date
with excellent maintenance, good modern services--wi fi when it works,
digital tv, fitness center, very comfortable bed and comfortable chairs
in each room. The public areas are inviting, a library and computer
terminal are available and easily accessible. Food in the dining room is
very good, service is excellent. Superb shower.
