  Myself, my wife and our two teenage kids, 16 and 13, stayed at the Lonesome Dove on our two weeks holiday to the States. Everything good that has been said before is all absolutely true. I have never stayed anywhere in the world where I have felt so at home so quickly. Ruth and Leo are the nicest people I have ever stayed with. The rooms were fabu... what people say » lous. We had the suite and the kids had the Lily room. Alright, the décor may not be Soho boutique hotel but that’s a good thing. What you get is a sl - Lonesome Dove Bed and Breakfast is the perfect get away location. Ruth and Leo are the perfect hosts and make you feel at home the minute you walk in the door. I would recommend and re-stay here over and over. Breakfast was quaint and we enjoyed taking with the other quests. Our bed was comfortable and the view from the bedroom was priceless, it truly captured a photo of wonderful fall NE weather.

  We lived in farmington for 12 years. We stayed at the Inn because its close to UConn Health Center where our grandchild was born. It was perfect; lovely room; breakfast room; great coffee; very comfortable; walking distance to several places to eat. And we love the town.   I liked the coziness of the Inn. The room was very nice and my window overlooked the Main Street which was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very nice. - Location ideal for an academic visit to Wesleyan. Good access to downtown shops and restaurants. Dining room remained open past 10 pm, which was a big help.
