  Were booked for Monday night but arrived, unexpectedly, a day early..in the middle of the night. They accommodated very nicely--giving a good rate and complimentary parking. Parking is very safe--a concern of ours in a downtown setting. A really great location: excellent for getting around especially downtown and for using the transit system. Woul... what people say » d definitely stay here again and would recommend it. - The Red Roof Inn is located in a beautiful place in downtown San Diego. The staff was very nice and helpful, and a place for all ages to stay in comfort.

  Close to the tall ships (star of India) free breakfast let me and my friend (who did not stay there) leave our cars in the parking lot even after we checked out while we toured all day also a big plus with me in room micro-fridge-iron n board- blow dryer nice firm beds and large room - We got upgraded to a deluxe suite with a wooden roof and lots... what people say » of space. It was really cozy and comfy. Pretty quiet too and very clean.
