  This is one of the cheapest locations I stayed in NY, where even the YMCA (where they treat you like a dog) charges 119 USD per night. For less than half that price this is a perfectly located, clean and efficient hostel with friendly staff. Only 2 blocks from Penn station and the air train to JFK! - The location was great & quiet.   A hotel providing exactly what we were looking for: A large, clean, comfortable and practical room right in the centre of New York at a reasonable price. Travelling with a toddler we really enjoyed the two double beds, which meant that we could in fact have been sleeping four in the room without any difficulty.   Location was outstanding. Central positioning in Midtown, v close to Empire State & Times Square. Every request from the hotel was met - extra bedding delivered immediately. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfasts v good. Some people have complained about the fact that only 2 elevators served (I think) up to 12 floors. Would highly recommend for great value and loc - The location is terrific. It is in the middle of manhattan and next to important subway stations. Extremely convenient transportation. The next door is 5th avenue and macy'S. Also it is near korean town and cafes and bars so that both western and eastern style food is easy to get. The room I am in is quite new, with big tv and good city view to Empire building (if you stay above 16th floor). Breakfast is very nice indeed. And the most important, staffs are very nice! Especially Mathew!

One of our rooms had a view of the Empire State Building - great! But the other has a view of the wall of the building opposite!   Was my fifth time in NY and I've never stayed in such a comfortable hotel like this, we were three in a two double bed room, was very spacious and nice decoration. The building is new, the breakfast area is big with a variety of food and fresh fruit. The staff at the check in and the bell boy were very friendly - For a one night stay for business, this was the perfect choice. Room was in brand new condition; extremely clean and comfortable. Easy walk from Penn Station and then to work on Park Avenue. Felt very safe and found plenty of close by places to eat great food. Also, friends of Bill W only 3 blocks away.
