  The staff were really good and helpful. It felt secure with gated coded card access. It's not a 5 star hotel. It has dated decor has all the basics including free wifi. It looks like they are slowly renovating the hotel so I guess the room rates will go up but maybe not. We were booked into one of the King corner rooms on the 22nd floor and the view over the city and the bay was superb.   Good and a clean place for the money. The staff were courteous and it is a simple and an inexpensive place to stay if you want something on a low budget. Walking distance to movies, and great ethnic asian cuisine. - I liked that is was pet friendly at no extra charge. Once we got the handicapped room, it was perfect. The beds were comfortable.
