  Great small boutique hotel. Privately owned & operated. Both owners there. Service was superb. Facilities were spotless, really nice & quiet. Breakfast included in their wonderful restaurant.   The hotel is in a great location. It must be amazing to have a room with a view of the park. Sadly, I wasn't that lucky. The room itself was spacious. The bed was comfortable, but the matress a little worn. I kept sliding to the edge of the bed. The plaid on the bed had holes in it. Flat-screen TV with ample stations. Towels fresh and clean; great smelling bathso - We loved everything. The Taj was perfect for our stay. The staff was very helpful as well as friendly. Before we arrived we had questions about the reservations and hotel amenities, and Kenia Celestino, reservations manager, was extremely attentive. She was very prompt in answering any question we had. Amanda was our turn down attendant at night. She was just the nicest, most gracious and helpful person you could have to get you settled in at night. Housekeeping for our room, 612, was awesome.

  The hotel made up for a mistake letsbookhotel.com made. They accommodated my reservation even though letsbookhotel.com had never sent it to the hotel. Breakfast- great value for the $$. I would stay there again as its location is incredible for waking to all attractions in downtown Boston - The location is wonderful. You're within walking distance to almost everything of interest in the city. There is a Whole Foods next door as well if you want to get something life fresh fruit. The rooms are spacious and clean -- and we got one with a wonderful view of the Charles River. I'm not sure if it was worth all the money we paid for it, but it was a weekend in a centrally-located hotel in Boston. I guess the price made sense.
