  Nice historic hotel with a great location, next to imax, around the corner from the Alamo and 1-2 block walk to the lively area on the Riverwalk. Great base for walking to most downtown spots. Quick trolley ride to the Market Square. Clean and simple rooms were just what we needed. Excellent breakfast with belgian waffle station, breakfast tacos (... what people say » with eggs, refried beans, salsa and cheese), fruit, cereal, bagels/pastries, yogurt, juice/coffee - filled us up all the way until dinner! Staff were - The location is the key factor, actually next door to the Alamo and very close to the Riverwalk area and the Mall. Felt safe to walk in these areas even late at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a standard room in an old historic hotel, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast that was included was good. The city bus from the airport stops just four blocks from the Crockett, an easy walk passing over the Riverwalk,

  The hotel room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed and a very big flat-screen television and sitting area. The breakfast (included in the nightly rate) was great and provided a variety of hot and cold items. Although not in the middle of the Riverwalk where all the shops and restaurants are located, it was about a 10 minute walk/5 min... what people say » ute walk away. - The hotel was very clean, the staff was professional, the rooms were beautiful, they had free parking, free wi-fi, free breakfast!   I really enjoyed my stay there. The room they gave me was clean and nice I felt like I was living in a big house =) The staff was very nice, helpful & respectful. Their continental breakfast was excellent compare to some hotels.
