Lookin for a clean economical place to stay for a football game at the alamodome. The hotel is clean and simple with no frills and fit the bill for this trip. Neighborhood is rundown and I would not recommend walking at night. -

Spacious and well designed room, pleasantly furnished and equipped with modern TV, microwave oven and refrigerator. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was limited but satisfying. I loved the location and the B&B style. Being right in the center of
the Riverwalk center; we felt like we were miles away once we walked in
the front door of the Vista. The breakfast was perfect, cookies and wine

staff was great! I arrived around 1130am, and they accomodated me in getting into a room. Even it wasn't the king size, they had 2 queen at same rate and I was able to get into room so I could continue with the day plans. they all were very friendly. -
