  The Charles is extremely convenient, provides a very pleasant environment, good services, particularly the use of computers. The rooms are nice and well thought-out, the food is good and the prices reasonable. A winner! - Excellent room, facilities, and location.

  The most beautiful, clean & comfortable room we've ever been in. This hotel is more like a Bed & Breakfast. The price was right, the staff was excellent & very helpful. Loved the free coffee machine, bottled drinks and hot pastries in the morning. Parking is in the basement of the hotel. The location is in the heart of Harvard Square ... what people say » nearest everything you'll ever need for a trip. The subway system into the City of Boston was a couple of blocks away or a 5 minute walk. Very quiet & - Beautiful gem of a city hotel. TINY rooms but with everything you need including an exceptionally comfortable bed w/luxury linens. Good for the city because after walking around all day all you really need is a good bed! Also beautifully decorated. Great coffee machine in lobby.

  The location of the hotel was great - exactly what I wanted. The staff was friendly, the hotel was beautiful, the restaurant was excellent. - very hassle free (although they had blundered in assigning us a room with a smaller bed than we requested; they repaired the blunder, but we had to change rooms after moving our luggage in)
