  I was in town with my wife and in-laws for a uf football game and this was a great hotel. We walked to the game (about 1.5 miles to the stadium) and back with no problems. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby that are walk-able and the edge of the uf campus is less than a mile away. The beds were comfortable, and although I was a bit co... what people say » ncerned by the bed bug review of this hotel I was assured by the hotel office staff that the issue had been resolved and recently checked. I inspected - A very nice place. It is reasonably clean (bed sheets and towels are very clean but the carpet-floor a bit less; the toilet was clean but a bit rusted). We didn't try the swimmingpool. Air conditioning was a bit noisy but really great (couldn't do without it) and we had no problems with the creepy owner: staff was really nice.   I absolutely loved the location. It was just off the highway but still secluded enough that you don't get the disturbance of traffic noises. When I made my reservations, I asked for certain provisions, but wasn't sure if they would be granted. However, when I called ahead, the staff was very accomodating. - Manager/family very polite!
