A lovely clean hotel very close to the airport with a nice indoor pool and spa bath. Although there were no restaurants within the hotel, you could buy frozen meals and pizza very cheap from the hotel shop and heat them up in the shop as well. All in all a delightful hotel.

The management was sensitive to our every need. They became more our friends than management as time passed. We had six wonderful days with outstanding ambience, delicious and healthy breakfasts and a perfectly temperature controlled room. The lodge is perfect for meeting friends, lots of seating areas conducive to secluded conversations. -

The staff is wonderful and the hotel is located midst some of the best restaurants that Des Moines has to offer as well as easy access to shopping and the freeway! I really loved it!

Beds were comfortable, Hot breakfast, rooms updated and nice. Location was good, close to freeway but not noisy. employees were great; i was having car problems and they helped get me started. Big storm came thur and took out my internet for my room for the weekend (holiday) I was given a discount off my room rate. I would stay again. -
