Having stayed a few nights on a more developed beach farther north before our stay here, we really enjoyed the serenity that awaited at Ancient Realm. Although our previous place was directly on the beach, we still spent a good part of our days there on the motorbike exploring the island. The beach, which is one of the nicest - This resort lived up to all the reviews I read before booking. I can't thank the staff and managers, Dave and Glen enough for their friendly, caring attitude. They made us feel special and couldn't possibly do any more to make us feel more welcome. The resort was: Excellent value for money. A great location. Fantastic facilities.   On the beach, really nice wooden bungalows. Everything is natural and made of wood so that they take care of the conservance of the place. - Excellent and helpful staff, great food in the restaurant, most of the staff speak good english.

  Pada hotel is down as a three star, but the service was worthy of 5! I could not believe how little we paid for this service. Shadi the owner and his staff made our stay so comfortable and it was a pleasure to stay at such a well ran hotel. It had everything you needed and was a great location on Koh Lanta with some great tours. Oh and a special mention to the security guard who was always s - We arrived at Pada Hotel and were shocked at the amazing customer service! For the low price we paid, we had 5 star service :) we arrived and were greeted with cold tea and cold towels to cool down. Check in was easy and straight forward. We stayed in a bungalow with fan and it was fab! Lovely big bathroom, hot shower, VERY comfy bed, clean towels everyday. They also supply beach/pool towels and they do laundry for a cheap price. Food is awesome! Try the coconut milk soup...its to die for! We
