He was friendly and helpful. He couldn't do enough for us. Our room was spacious. The bed was very wide and comfortable. Air conditioning was good. Great view from our balcony on the seventh floor.   Small garden by the pool very green decorated by blooming orchids, very nice welcome to the pool leading to the wide beach access. The hotel is cozy and comfortable, just a few step to the pool and to the beach. The beach is nearby public access which is good for public yet do not bother the guests. Beach is right in the middle of the bay so great... what people say » feeling when you look around. Hotel overall size is small compared to chain hotel yet rooms is comfy and have good size. Definitely a friendly hotel - Everything!!! This is paradise! My absolute favourite place, within a couple hours from my home in Bangkok. Friendly and well skilled staff, fine rooms, superb food, fantastic orchids everywhere, calm and clean private beach and last but not least the gorgeous scenery with the sea and the waves in front of you, when you dine at the terrace! Watch the moon rise, enjoy a nice glass of white wine.... I could stay here forever, at this wonderful hotel. LOVE IT!

  This was a surprise! Wow what a beautiful little hotel... Zen comes to mind. Beautiful large rooms everything well thought through in every detail.. decor absolute first class. The pool at least 100 meter long great for laps.. very relaxing atmosphere.. all the ground floor rooms have their own access terrace to the pool. Wonderful breakfast buffet by the poolside. 400 meters to the beach, or 5 min complimentar - The pool was massive!! I loves the pool only downside was the trees planted around it, a lot of flowers and leaves floating about. Staff really helpful, cleaners lovely! Shuttle service handy, didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but the food is limited choice.

  Because there was noisy working in the appartement next door.We got a FREE UPGRADE room so we did not have any noise.We did not ask for it but got it anyway. They helped us book plenty of day trips and packed us a breakfast when they found out we'd be checking out before the kitchen opened. Location was convenient for beach access (just across the street), and it was easy to grab a taxi to head to the tourist streets - Loved the open-plan design of the public rooms. Watching the geckos took me back to my childhood in Vietnam. Loved the staff, especially the lady who taught me a new Thai phrase every day. Food was good. Room was large, comfortable, with good air-con. Swimming pool was much better than I had expected from a small hotel. And the garden is great - my wife loves plants, and was in heaven.

  We initially stayed for a couple of days then moved south. On returning we to Hua Hin we decided to book in again at Veranda Lodge. The staff welcomed us back and gave us an upgrade which was lovely. The room was very good and we loved the fact that the Hotel is right on the beach - breakfast overlooking the sea! The garden villas are particularly nice. Close enough to town to walk, or the staff will call transport for you which is very inexpensive.
