  There is nothing we disliked in this hotel. The concept is somewhat different from other hotels, there is for example no lobby or recreational activities by the hotel itself. However, the concept takes into account that the location is in the middle of Chaweng Beach where you can easily find whatever you look for. The grounds are well kept and not... what people say » too extended, so with nice and spacious rooms, beach and restaurant, we immediately felt comfortable.   We have booked the Royal Suite with garden view and were absolutely happy with our choice! Big private balcony with hot tube and table with chairs, bathroom with another hot tube and nice, big bedroom with comfortable bed. Very quiet at the beach and in the room but directly on the main street with all the bars and restaurants. Restaurant Muang Samui highly recom - I liked everything, it is a laid-back 5-star resort experience. I stayed by the beach and pool, had beach massages, rented a boat for one day to snorkel and visit other islands, and so on. It's a quiet location on a very busy street so it's easy to find decent restaurants, bars, clubs, and shopping right outside the resort door. Just like the rest of Koh Samui, this is not a local Thai experience but it is a very pleasurable and first-class resort, the rooms are large, comfortable, and luxuriou
