  Amazing place!! At the north of the island which is argubly the most beautiful part. Set on the beach is such a great place to relax and unwind. Staff were friendly, restaurant sold mixture of food and the bar a great selection of cocktails. We were a group of backpackers who came for full moon party, although a 30 min drive away a 2 min walk up t... what people say » he beach is the taxis. And is far nicer being out of haad rin after the full moon ( there beach is trashed and no where to relax). Local area thong n - Spectacular location. We've been travelling for 1 month in the South of Thailand doing Island hopping and this beach is by far the MOST BEAUTIFUL ever! The bungalows are spacious and clean and a good price for where it is. The veranda was a nice touch. Food at the restuarant is also yummy and nicely lit by night. This location is just AMAZING !!!! Don't miss it!

  Perfect location, right at the beach. The beach is just gorgeous, very sheltered and therefore not busy. Was the only one on the beach a lot of times :) The staff is very friendly and funny.   We stayed at mai pen rai for 3 nights, we didn't know what to expect to be honest but the more time we spend there the more we enjoyed! Starting with the food which is to die for (any dish), goin thought staff member which are very friendly to the place itself/location. No shops around which makes it ideal for a complete relaxation. Compared to the rest of the island this is the least developed beach, but it is great for swimming, walking, eating and relaxing. Mr. Singh by the restaurant is an excellent masseuse, for children and adults alike.
