  I liked the decor and that it was matching, and not bitsy. Didn't take long to heat up the room. Having the extra tv channels was good. - the rooms were clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. heater was great and didn't take long to heat up. very comfy beds :)

  We were lucky enough to be given a gorgeous room in the old villa............not one of the motel units. Our room was just lovely with most of the original features of the villa in tact. It had real atmosphere. I don't think I would have been thrilled to get one of the 'ordinary' units. - We were in the front room of what used to be an old hou... what people say » se. The room was large with beautiful, high pressed-tin ceilings. The bed was good, we also had a lounge on which to watch TV. It was all beautifully clean and although on a fairly major road was relatively quiet at night.

  Staff were very accommodating. We missed our flight so couldn't make our first planned nights stay. Although they didn't have to they were able to waive the room fee for that night which took a lot of pressure off us and made the remaining nights stress free.   We stayed with 4 people in a very spacious three-bedroom unit. Tons more space than you get in newly built motels, and a proper kitchen, all for a reasonable price. Also very close to the central city and the university, but quiet. The decor is a bit old fashioned but I'd rather have that than a price rise, and it's perfectly comfortable and funct... what people say » ional. The staff were very helpful. - Our two bedroom unit was set well back from the road and was not only comfortable but also very quiet. While there I discovered that one of my lens filters had shattered. When I asked the owner if I could borrow a vacuum cleaner to get the remains out my camera bag she insisted on doing the job for me!
