- Although our one-bedroom unit is nothing more than 2 connecting rooms, don't expect a living room, it offers e-ve-ry thing one travaller may need ; veRRRRy comfortable bed, complete kitchen, nice bathroom side, and plenty of room to stretch out - Unlimited internet to as many devices as you want - Reception is polite and efficient, and daily serviced, like everywhere else, money-value.
all reviews » The bed was the Best we have ever slept in (except for our own bed that is ) . The sound proof doors were excellent never heard a car or truck or any noise at all, once doors was closed. This is the first time I could honestly state, I was able to get a good nights rest in a Motel. Thanks. free Internet access friendly staff we had a very busy full on weekend celebrating a family members 100th birthday and it was great to come home late in the evening with the beds on a medium heat, bedside lights on and the unit warm with thermostatically controlled heating on. Great Staff - so helpful and welcoming at all times. Great in-house breakfast service - was on time every morning and cooked very well. Great Room Service - every day room cleaning. Very close to city central - not far from anything really!. I have been in the travel industry for 35 years and this was just a great experience. Nice rooms with all the facilities. - Nothing at all To our opinion : - Being on one corner of a busy roundabout, sensitive ears can be bothered, at times. We were not. - Curtains don't blind enough, but we slept like pigs. The bathroom was very good except the Shower curtain kept getting in the way and made it difficult to shower. Out door seating was very un-stable could be stronger and stabler. Too small a fridge, and we had pots but nothing to cook on, eg soup or boil an egg, small inconvenience only. Not a thing !. More parking would be nice. For a 2 night stay the bathroom toiletries were very basic. Minimal crockery provided for breakfast - designed to encourage you to purchase breakfast??? Dunedin main town (other than railway station area) needed a clean up. Room was quite small, especially for the price. Hotel price for a very nice motel unit. The town was sold out for a concert, so presumably more reasonable rates are available at other times. Only one mirror in bathroom - A mirror in bedroom would have been great. Very hard beds. Nothing!!! :). nothing. The room was a bit crowded. Thers was no kitchen sink and bench. No place to wash dishes except in the bathroom basin. If only the wonderfully large bathroom was a little smaller, a tiny kitchen could have been accommodated within the footprint of the unit. not a thing. Nothing. beds had a bit too much softness on top of the mattress. Nothing really. Small rooms. There was nothing remarkable to not like about our stay there. On this trip the office was shut. I arrived at 4.30 cold and windy to find a notice saying they would be back at 5.30 because of an emergency. I had nowhere to go for one hour and had to wait, not impressed. Emergency was real but they really should have their own contingency plans for such an event. I do not like bottle soaps it doesn't work... Bed was old and uncomfortable Room Felt grubby. Staff unfriendly Dogs allowed to stay, if I knew that I would never stay there. Definitely not worth the money paid.....never again. Located in not so nice area.Noisy neighbours living nearby.
