  Very friendly family-run establishment. Owner Manolos was very friendly and helpful. Food in Taverna Kastro was of excellent quality. Especially liked Manolos's 'special local wine' of which he gave me a bottle to bring home.   Really good beds, very comfortable with comfortable pillows. Location was excellent, close to a small and friendly beach with very easy travel to many attractions and places to explore. Local restaurants and taverna's offer great food and a range of price points to suit all. Staff are friendly and helpful. - The staff was very friendly and welcom... what people say » ing. There is also a room service and lift even if there are 2 floors. The breakfast is very good in comparison to other 3 star hotels in Santorini for example.

  This was certainly a perfect choice for our holiday in Crete. The town of Panormo is located on the main national road between Rethymno and Iraklio, making it easy to visit most of the greatest places in western Crete. The hotel has its own taverna with wonderful bread, tasty fish and traditional Greek dishes, with prices somewhat lower than in bi... what people say » gger cities. The beaches are located just a few hundred meters away. Most of the rooms have windows overlooking the sea. There is a convenient parking - We only stayed for two days but because it was the last two days of the season the owner upgraded us to the "Big House" which is a three bedroom, three balcony, two bathroom suite and was absolutely delightful. A lovely, romantic and perfect end to our time in east Crete. Panormos is ideal if you want a quieter resort but is within driving distance of many sites. We well recommend a stay here.

  Its absolutely an amazing place. We stayed in the apt with two rooms, bathroom and the huge taras on the last floor. The view was great, with sea in one side and mountains on the ofher.Everything you see on the pics is exactly what you will find there. Clean, nice place to stay for everybody. Panormos itself is very cozy and gorgeous place to be, ... what people say » especially for families. Small restaurants with home cooking. Definitely recommended. - Combination of beautiful scenery, breathtaking view and tranquile relaxation all made this holiday an unforgettabe experience. Whether you like to enjoy your cocktails poolside with music and friends or romantically in the privacy of your luxurious studio room with your partner, this is the right choice for you. "Philoxenia" means hospitable and that is a quality shared by all staff and Panormo locals. We'll be back next year!!
