  This is a beautiful, romantic hotel in a Venetian building that had everything we wanted or needed. Very nice room with beautiful decor and a nice bathroom. Hotel and surrounding streets have tons of character...cobblestone streets, flowers spilling over balconies, lots of great restaurants. Very friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful stone courtyard ... what people say » with garden and restaurants. Highly recommend! - Great place and ambiance. We stayed in room #101, this was their cave room, part of the old monastery. Lot's of history here. The food at the restaurant does not disappoint! The owner was extremely helpful and hospitable as well. He also makes his own wine, raki (similar to grappa) and a lemon liquor. We bought some of his liquor to take home. Would definitely return here.
