  Dutch family with 3 children (16, 12 & 9): Beautiful (small) hotel with big rooms (especially if you have a combined lower and upper floor). The breakfast is excellent and the bar as well. The place has an open air theater as well for musicians. The place is run by a friendly, young staff who work hard but also have time to talk.   View from room is amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Free wifi. Great breakfast. Close to town (10 minute slow walk), handy for dining, train, bus etc. - The front desk (son of the owner) clerk gave great recomendations, and hiking tours for the area. We saw more because of his tips

  Super Staff! Super Service!! Best experience ever!!! Here is the real story: We came to Kalambaka to visit the great Meteora on 1st May, 2013. After we check-out, we planned to take the train to Athens. But when we get to the railway station, there is nobody at the railway station and only a note of one English word "Strike" on the window!!! Then ... what people say » we tried to call the hotel for help, their boss drove to the station personally in 10 minute. He helped to translate the rest of note on the windows a - Me and my familly enjoied a lot our staing in Kosta Famissi Hotel, even this was only for one night. We found it easily and we received all we aspected and a plus and a bonus. After visiting Meteora we would souposed to go to Skiathos Island but we were not informed about the ferry timetable. For this I would like to thank the man on the reception who helped us (I am sorry but I don't know his name), giving a lot of phone calls to Volos and offering us some benchmarks for the next day, in our t

  The man at reception was excellent. Gave me a map and all the info I needed to visit the monasteries without a tour. Also good tips on restaurants.   Everything! We love there every moment! Good place to be, bus stop to Volos just 2 min to walk, busses going for every 30 min to city centre if need it, untill 10 in the evening! Beach is very clean and quiet and calm , not crowded , water is nice and very lovely restorants and bars around. I truly want to be back there soon. I recommend that hotel to - The staff were extremely friendly. They made us feel very welcome. The beach was only a few minutes walk away. Good tavernas close by aswell as 2 small super markets which came in handy. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The room was clean and tidy and the air conditioning was a bonus. Breakfast was better than we expected. We would definitely recommend staying here!
