Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

  We booked an extra night because of the nice atmosphere at this place in the mountains, not far away from Sparta/Mistras. Hospitality and food very good!   Pretty much everything! Views were stunning, rooms extremely comfortable, had a great nights sleep every night. Shower was fabulous as well. Breakfast was fantastic, the Mani bread is SO good and is home made by the grandmother I believe. The staff are very friendly and informative. The father and son made us very welcome.   What a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had booked for 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we ended up staying 4 nights. The staff were all helpful and always had a smile. The breakfast was excellent but far too much for us to eat. The evening meal was always very good and varied. The wine went down very well too! It is only 5 minut... what people say » es drive from Ancient Olympia but much nicer to stay in and the pool was very welcoming after a hot day out. Our room was lovely and very spacious - The B&B is not in Olympia, but in a village nearby, so a car is needed to get there. It didn't matter to us because in Olympia there's nothing much to see or do, once you've visited the archeological site and museum of Old Olympia. The place was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent.

  We enjoyed our stay at Tyros as well as at the hotel. We had daily our breakfast at the veranda and we relaxed till late noon on the beach that was just in front of the hotel.   The manager and her daughter are so customer-friendly - approachable and go out of their way to help you! The location is ideal - on the water with a private beach (no one used it while I was using it) and still had a pool. The room was great - overlooking the pool and out towards the sea. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were very clean... what people say » . I was greeted with freshly squeezed OJ and a piece of cake - greatly appreciated! - Everyone in the hotel were polite and always ready to help us. We felt as if we were staying in their home. Great hospitality! The quality of the breakfast and the food-snacks in general was beyond expectations. Everything was home made and prepared at the time of the order. In my opinion, this is how hotels should be managed. Well done ladies!
