But it happens in the - Very good and nicely designed hotel with many interesting details. Good and free spa center that requires appointment. Amazing food - fusion cuisine. 100 m close to the sea, but the beach is not superb though very decent. Thera are couple of fireplaces in the lobby and the feeling was magic. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, no problem to park and I really injoyed winter spa wekend in this hotel. Outside of the hotel with sweeming pools is also nice but not interesting in this time of the year.   This hotel is about 1.5km or a 20 minute walk from the shore and high on a hill with a -fabulous- view. (We had a "superior" sea-view room, which also featured a nice balcony.) The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, several times showing us how to get places on the map or giving recommendations for things to see/do/places to eat. ... what people say » The breakfast was also excellent. Kavala was a cute little town and we wished we had spent a couple more days there and also hiked around in the hill - The location is very convenient for people with a car. The front desk was very friendly. They offer a pillow menu for a good nights sleep and they clean the rooms two times a day. The roof garden has the best view in Kavala and at night, turns into an amazing place to dine or have a drink. I would definately stay at this hotel again if had to visit Kavala again.
