    We loved staying at Atrina Canava and it was the most beautiful place. The staff were so friendly and so helpful. It was a dream location.     We were met at the harbour and taken to Vinceno Family Rooms where cold drinks were made available. Our room was Studio 9, which was a large room and it also had a small lounge with a balcony facing the street. There was a flat screen tv, a kettle and cups for our early morning cup of tea. The room was ideal for me as being on a small budget I was very happy to be able to self cater for my family due to there being a fridge in the room. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and pleasant. Access to beaches are all via bus or a good hike away (but well worth the trip) Therefore the pool at the hotel was a welcome extra and great for the kids.

    Brilliant base for exploring this fantastic island! Really convenient to get to from the port (5 mins walk - no hills!) and the beach at the end of the road is great for a swim anytime before you venture to the more exciting beaches on the outer coast of the island. We would definitely recommend the round Milos cruise on the Eleni boat which includes swimming stops in some amazing spots - Staying with Eleni is like staying with your mum, in a good way! She bakes pastries for breakfast and treats everyone wonderfully. She can advise you on restaurants and prices for car rentals and boat trips. You are behind a beach hotel, so the view is of the mountain and fields, but the beach is a couple of minutes away. The port and town is five minutes walk away and very convenient. We ran into people on another island who also sang Eleni's praises.

Everyone spoke (and understood) perfect English, and had plenty of suggestions for places to eat and visit. The views are still magnificent, and short walk up the hill from Voreina br - My husband and I spent only 3 days in Spring Suite and it was like a beautiful dream.
