  We used the hotel on our last 3 days in chania as we just wanted to relax and not worry about anything, and it proved a right choice.after touring chania by car , the hotel provided everything that was needed to just stay in and enjoy the beach. Staff were - I stayed in Santa Marina Plaza more than a week at the beginning of September 2013. I liked wonderful view from my terrace (front sea view room) and the beach. Very convinient location - not far from Chania and with many shops and restaurants near the hotel.

  Beautiful location as hotel is right beside the sea and also a small river. Also very close to amenities of Kalyves village which is a busy little place with its own character. Staff were excellent - friendly and very hard-working and the hotel was spotlessly clean.   The food was great. Excellent variety of gourmet foods. The reception was very helpful with every questions we had. On our last day they held our luggage and let us use the facilities until we were ready to leave.   We picked the Crete to spend the end of our visit to Greece relaxing and enjoying the beach. The cove beaches and day beds were the reason we choose Knossos Beach Bungalows & Suites. Upon our arrival there was a glitch with our rooms but it was fixed and the rest of our stay was fine. We had dinner at the Swell Restaurant and it was fantastic.... what people say » We picked the breakfast only option and the hotels breakfast was extensive and changed enough each day to keep it interesting. The hotel has two cove - - the beach was amazing - beach facilities very nice -staff is v good especially beach bar employee - hotel location -the moved us the next day to better location rooms abd right close to our children room .
