Superb breakfasts with lots of choice and extras like the small pancakes deep fried and served with honey and sesame seeds - delicious. Meals in the restaurant were fantastic, again with lots of extras and a new dessert to sample every day. The staff were very well trained, courteous and took the time to talk.   We liked everything in castello! When we arrived maria the reception lady gave us a nice welcome and told us that they've upgraded us to the honeymoon suite ! we had a big comfortable room, well designed with a jacuzzi on the large balcony facing the sea. We got a basket of fruits, a bottle of wine & water. The bed was comfortable and the bath... what people say » had jacuzzi in it also. The staff payed attention to a lot of details, it felt like we got a personal treatment. The pool was great, not too cold! Th - Nothing was too much for any of the staff - you were treated superbly with a fantastic hotel room & great sea views. As we arrived late & missed dinner, the hotel had placed a plate of salad, cold meat, a bottle of wine & water on our arrival. During meal times, there was a wide selection of dishes available. Sissi is a quiet area as is the hotel and fantastic for peace & relaxation. The spa treatments that i received were well worth the money.

  We picked the Crete to spend the end of our visit to Greece relaxing and enjoying the beach. The cove beaches and day beds were the reason we choose Knossos Beach Bungalows & Suites. Upon our arrival there was a glitch with our rooms but it was fixed and the rest of our stay was fine. We had dinner at the Swell Restaurant and it was fantastic.... what people say » We picked the breakfast only option and the hotels breakfast was extensive and changed enough each day to keep it interesting. The hotel has two cove - - the beach was amazing - beach facilities very nice -staff is v good especially beach bar employee - hotel location -the moved us the next day to better location rooms abd right close to our children room .
