  The hotel is situated in an old part of Athens called the Plaka. It is right by the Accropolis and Hadrians Gate. Very central within walking distance to the center of town. 5 minutes from the Metro. There are shops and restaurants close by and an excellent old town square. The breakfast is OK and the dinning room pleasant. While I was there there... what people say » were people with small children and they seemed to be happy. There are two PCs in the lobby and genrally really good value for money. Side view of th - Great location...helpful and friendly staff...very good price...very clean...The man that works during breakfast even remembered the reason I was in Athens and introduced me to a woman who worked in a similar field to me - I was surprised he remembered what I did. He may have sparked a new friendship/colleague :) I would recommend Adam's Hotel.

  We loved the lift, the breakfast room, the staff very helpful and relaxed. Andreas was very good about emailing me back about various changes to our arrangements and ensuring needs met (adjacent rooms as family of 5 etc) and updating us frankly about the situation in Athens as we booked and were coming a fortnight after the rioting in December 2008... what people say » . The Cecil was in a great location, views etc. - We like the hotel because we have stayed their before and have alwaysfound it so convenient to everything we need in athens.
