This place is just amazing, Irene and Dmitri look after everyone so well. they really make you feel at home, it is very laid back and chilled and the cocktails are good too. I would recommend George and Irene to everyone, if you respect them they will do anything for you.

Everything was great! After we booked Lambros, the owner sent us a friendly email asking article details and arranged to meet us at the ferry. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Mata. This family-run place is super
friendly and welcoming. The rooms all have private balconies, but there
are also communal spaces which make it easy to meet other travellers.
The garden setting is gorgeous and really peaceful. Many people hit up
Ios to party, but we had a very relaxing time staying at Villa Mata. The
little outdoor kitchen is handy for cooking up some food. Also the staff
were really helpful when we were planning our onward leg.

Ideal location in Ios, near the port beach and also near the village. Always kept spotlessly clean. Great views over the port of Yialos towards Sikinos. Not prone to mosquitos, as it's quite high up the hill. Free wifi. Friendly, family run establishment, which I've been using for years.

The staff was very cool. We asked for the free transfer from the port
and the owner of the place came with a very welcoming mood.
Everything inside the apartment worked very well.
To finish, the location is good. Within 7 minutes walk can go to the street where you can find lots of bars and clubs or to the bus stop for going to the beach. -

The family who runs this hotel are wonderful, friendly and really helpful! It's clean and located in the centre. If you like walking, it's a great location to get some exercise and walk to some nearby beaches. Highly recommended! -

Owner dimitrios was absolutely fantastic and was more than willing to go out of his way for us any time we needed. The artistic design of lights and wood in the rooms is really cool also! -

The view is incredible. Good walking distance to the main town and mypolotas beach. Great hospitality. Nick went out of his way to find us at the beach on our last day to let us know our ferry had been cancelled. He drove us down to the port so we could make the earlier one on time. -
