  Beautiful location as hotel is right beside the sea and also a small river. Also very close to amenities of Kalyves village which is a busy little place with its own character. Staff were excellent - friendly and very hard-working and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The food was good most of the times, tasty desserts and fresh salad. There was ice cream available at lunch/dinner time and at the bar.   Very clean and tidy room. Lovely, clean pool. Very close to nice sandy beach, supermarket and tavernas. Made very welcome - the helpfulness and hospitality of Niko and Maria was exceptional. Will definitely come again. Highly recommended.

  Lion-Suites is a really nice house with comfortable suites. The house is located only one minute from the beautiful beach of Kalyves and a lot of greek taverns. The view from the roof is breath-taking, you can see the White Mountains, the village and the bay. Manfred and Annett are very friendly hosts, they often gave us tipps of nice places to g... what people say » o. They also have a really funny and friendly dog, Cody. Thank you for the awesome time on Crete! I am coming back! - Staff were very friendly and were very eager to help if there were any problems. Self-catering provision was very good as a lot of thought had gone into the items provided especially for the kitchen.
