  we thought the rooms themselves were charming - very airy and quite roomy with pleasing decor loved the big shuttered windows i especially enjoyed the pool and surroundings. We were surpeised and pleased to see how close to the central township of Thira we were and the bus station which we needed.   First of all I was really glad that the hotel organised for us pick-up from the port, it made our travel to Santorini much more easier.   I like everything there. Gorge who's the owner of the hotel is excellent. He picked us up, gave us a lift which I wasn't sure I will get that service. Gorge gave us all the information to get around. The hotel itself is perfectly clean and near city center. We had great time there. I will recommend this hotel to everyone. Everyday, the room was cleaned and my bed was turned down. Even the clothes that I had left everywhere were folded neatly on the floor. There were plenty of extra blankets and huge beach towels were even provided on top of our regular two towels each upon asking the front desk

  Very friendly stuff, vey close to the city and the bus station. - The Lignos is a very modern and contemporary hotel and I was veryimpressed with the standard of hotel and the price. It is 5 mins walkto the ferry port and you can catch a bus across from the port whichtakes you to the marina which is nice for a wander, something to eatand a drink.

  Staff was excellent. Very service oriented. The pool is beautiful. You can get sun there all day. The location is great. Very close to shopping and gastronomy. - Clean, basic rooms. Fridge available in room. Nice balcony. My kids loved the pool. Friendly owner. Only a few minutes walk into Thira.

  Sunrise Hotel is five minutes walking away from the city center and from the Caldera. It is run by wonderful persons that made us feel like at home. The swimming pool is very nice. Rooms are absolutely ok and price we paid for our 7 nights in the Hotel was really lower than what one would expect from such an accommodation. At the Hotel you can rent a vehicle and book guided tours to the volcano, hot springs (which really deserve a visit) - The staff / owners went out of their way for us. Even arranging red roses and french champagne in the room as a special treat for my daughter from her boyfriend back home. The offer to pick us up from the port and also drop us at the airport was a wonderful help.
