Position in the center of Paris - CUYVERS

I found the hotel in the magazine National Geographic Traveler, then booked online. I was not disappointed. I called a couple of times prior to leaving on the trip and the reservations person was more than helpful. She was even, honestly, pleased that we were staying there. Upon arrival the staff met us at the entrance and while my wife and I were filling out the appropriate paper work they took our luggage to our room. This hotel was booked through a travel agent, who got us a very good rate. Terrific location right off the Champs Elysees, near a lot of great stuff. At the same time, the street is very quiet and the hotel is super quiet. Very good staff. Others mentioned the room size but we had a great duplex suite with the kids downstairs on fold out couch and an excellent roll-away bed. The parents were upstairs in the king bed. Full bathroom upstairs and powder room downstairs. Expensive, but excellent bre - Taisija

The hotel was very clean even though the room was not very large. Breakfast was really nice and we had a nice view from our room. - Anonymous

This hotel just opened in March this year and is in the lovely and relatively quiet 13. district. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Nice modern rooms, a very helpfull staff and just a minute from the underground station. Shops everywhere, and almost no traffic. Totally worth it! and the price is unbeatable; we payed around 200 euro's for 2 nights in a junior suite + parking in garage! will defenitely be back here. we travelled as group of friends and stayed 3 in a room. the rooms were large and spacious... had a living room and bedroom with a decent sized bathroom... the location was good too as you are about 5-10 mins walk to most attractions... however , the breakfast witht the rooms was not great and a dissappointment. all in all... a value for money hotel... i got what i paid for!! - Graham

We just returned from a week's stay at this hotel and loved it. We had originally thought we would stay in Central Paris, but are so happy we did not. This hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood with several nice bakeries and cafes nearby and only a ten minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Daniel at the front desk was so very helpful and everyone spoke English and were happy to assist with anything we needed. Most hotels look quite different in the glossy advertising pics, but arriving at the Banke was like entering those pics. The style is clearly not to everyones taste, but for people in search of reasonably priced and well located design hotels, they are spot on! What is rare with these kind of hotels is that they are consistent. We experienced Banke as very solid in quality, location and not to mention service (a rare feature in Paris...). Stayed Sept 1-5 & again Sept 7-10. So glad we chose to stay here. We were looked after by the concierge staff before we even left Australia - we had luggage enquiries answered and restaurants recommended (and eventually booked). When we arrived, all staff members that we had the pleasure of interacting with were extremely pleasant and more than happy to help. Our room was quite spacious (a surprise considering the 'norm' in Paris!), incredibly clean - as was the whole hotel - and very comfor - Allan

This hotel is minutes walk from Eiffel Tower. We had a very nice view from hotel. The location was simply fantasic. The staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome. - Anonymous

This hotel location was great, Near train and bus stops, near shuttle to and from airport, down the street from the Opéra Garnier , in walking distance from the Louvre Museum. Great Location, My husband and I used Paris Transit system to the max, riding the bus and train all over Paris. The hotel staff was great, every question we asked, they answered, very helpful staff ( map direction, cab service, room service ) The room was small but amazing, the bathroom was outstanding, from the fixture an - Annette

I simply hate to tell anyone about this hidden Parisian treasure. I don't want the price to go up, or not be available when we go back...and go back we will. They say "location, location, location" in the real estate trade. This gem is located about 1/10 of a mile from TWO metro stops, easy walking distance to the Champs Elysee, Arc De Triomphe, and Eiffel Tower. It's on a quiet side street - you'd never know you're so well placed - and offset from the street. It's quiet and intimate a - Simon
