Hotels near Louvre des Antiquaires

We stayed here for our honeymoon and we could not fault this hotel. The location is perfect, 2 mins to the Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre metro station and the Louvre, felt very safe walking around at night. It is not 5 star luxury but it was perfect for what we needed - something clean, comfortable and in a great location. Rooms are on the smaller side but very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a little odd with the toilet being on the opposite side of the room to the shower and sink but ever - Mark

You cannot beat the location of this hotel, in this price range, for convenience for tourism in Paris. You can pay three, four or more times this rate to stay directly across from the Louvre, by why not stay just a very short block away for a small fraction of the price? The hotel itself is adequate -- it meets all my criteria, e.g., it's safe, clean, functional and friendly. It's not a trendy, sleek, hot-list hotel, but I didn't come all the way to Paris to admire my hotel room. Save your cash - Joanna

The hotel was very nice. Very good facilities if you want an inexpensive stay in Paris (your own cooker, pots, pans, cuttlery, TV, Stereo). Near to Montparnasse and Geite Metro station. Room is only cleaned once a week but there are laundry facilities on site. Room was a bit small but cosy. However, it was clean and had everything you wanted for a short stay! I would most defintely go back! - Peta

Great location of the hotel just 5 minutes from the louvre very close to the subway, line B in Châtelet - Les Halles goes to the Charles de gaulle airport costs €9 and takes about 40 minutes, the subway was VERY crowded when we went. And if you dont wanna pay €17 for your breakfast at the hotel you have lots of options on the street where you can get fresh baguettes and paninis or just sit down in a cafe and have a fresh croissant The hotel is close to everything since its basically in the - Marc

I stayed here for almost two weeks in October 2009. I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and obliging. I stayed in two rooms because friends joined me halfway through my trip. Both rooms were very clean and exactly as expected. The hotel is not an American Hotel, so the rooms are smaller and the bathrooms are also not quite the same as we would expect from, say, a Hyatt. Nevertheless, for a european hotel it was excellent with plenty of space. Very clean and inexpensive. Can't say enou - Peter

Great small hotel with helpful staff, with good English. Fantastic location for Louvre, but also Musee d'Orsay and the metro. Pompidou centre not much further. The calm quiet elegant Gardens of Grand Palais are 50m away. Ask for directions to the shortcut through. Great to have air-conditioning that you have complete control of, and are able to open windows if you want. Requested and charged for two twins. Very easy to find. Rooms small but adequate. Very clean. Great base to explore Central Paris. Reception staff were brilliant in sorting our needs. Breakfast could have been a bit more imaginative with hot croissants! One or two problems with the room swiftly solved - Keith

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Therese for 5 nights in a classic room in early September. Having read the previous reviews I was expecting the room to be small to the point of uncomfortable, however it was fine. Although small, it was clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed & free wifi. Besides - we were in Paris so didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway! This hotel was a wonderful find. It is located right by the Louvre, and walking distance to some of the best areas in Paris. It is also very close to several metro lines. The staff is friendly and accomodating, the rooms are huge and very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again and again. - Andrew

Having heard all sorts of horrors about tiny rooms and appalling service in Paris, I approached the Hotel Lumen with some trepidation - but no need for that! The hotel is very close to the Louvre and easily accessible by the Metro, and is incredibly stylish and great value for money. The rooms are no smaller than any that I have stayed in in New York or other big American cities and the decoration is way more stylish: chandeliers in the entrance hall, marble flooring, beautiful bedrooms.
