Paris Swimming Pool Hotels

Have just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay at this hotel. We booked it based on reviews on Trip Advisor. It was just as good as we expected. The bedroom and bathroom were really clean, there was maid service every day, including Sunday. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is great, with two metro stations near, and of course the Eiffel Tower. We booked with the hotel direct, 95 euro including breakfast a night - this is great value. Me and my wife would like to express the wonderful experience we had during our stay in Oceania Paris Porte De Versailles in Paris France. We went during Valentines’ weekend and probably it was the perfect time to decide. The Accommodation at 1st felt it was too far away, pictures in the review were much different and wrong hotel, however when we arrived the hotel looked fantastic, staff were nice and the service was brilliant. We spent a long weekend at the Gare De Lyon Novotel and were very pleased. The rooms are huge for Paris standards, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is not right in the centre but is steps away from the yellow Metro line which takes you in minutes to the major sights. One big benefit of this hotel is the pool - travelling with young children (4 and 6), it was nice to give them some splash time (ask them which was more exciting: the Eiffel Tower or the hotel Pool and I can guarentee the answe - James

The hotel and rooms are small, but very clean, with spacious bathroom and good plumbing. Initially we were given a room with a view of an inner court yard where the walls were being painted. We requested a room with a view looking out, and got on with a view of the Eiffel tower! Most of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were advised to eat at nearby restaurant "Le Cap" and it was wonderful. The hotel is close to a train station, and on a quiet and safe street. - Leslie

This was an anniversary gift and i cant praise it enough? the staff were super we were upgraded as soon as they new we where there on our anniversary?the room had a balcony and had the best views?we had breakfast in our room and the food, service and staff where first class!! we had the pool to ourselves what a treat!! cant understand the negative comments found no problems for the 3 nights we stayed. - Steve

This was our first trip to Paris and we could not have picked a better hotel. The staff was extraordinarily helpful, the rooms were gorgeous and the bar was perfect. Carlos the bartender is not to be missed. The location is perfect for being within walking distance of everything you will want to see. If you are only going to Paris once in your life you should definitely stay here. - Michael

Although I expected more from the Costes chain, I can not say I was disappointed. Costes K is a nice modern hotel in a very good location few blocks from the Trocadero in one direction and the Etoile in the other. Hotel is clean with a nice modern designed lobby that is very useful for business meetings or a quite time sipping a drink and reading a newspaper. The rooms here are large with a lot of functional drawers,etc. Bathrooms have a separate toilet and a double sink and a large tub with sho - Carl

not a bad hotel , not great for walking to attractions. very expensive drinks in the hotel lounge. around the corner is a quaint spot with cheaper drinks and great pizza. had the most comfortable beds on our whole Europe trip. - John

OK. I had to be honest, I was a little worried after reading reviews from other people. The hotel was very good. I wanna stay close to the Eiffel Tower, and it's very close. 10 mins walk. The area is pretty ok. Yes, there's a construction site right next to the hotel, but it doesn't bother us at all. We never had to walk near it. The train station is very close too, we found a short cut by going through the 2nd of Monoprix (supermarket/department store), it brings you right up to the hotel lobby - James

My wife, my 16-month year old daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location could not be better for soaking in Paris (strolling every morning in the Tuilerie gardens, grabbing lunch at Angelina's, walking to the Louvre and Orangerie, etc). With the exception of the Eiffel tower, everywhere we wanted to go (including outstanding restaurants) was within a 10 minute walk or cab ride. The service at the Renaissance is very good.
