Hotels near Carroussel du Louvre

You cannot beat the location of this hotel, in this price range, for convenience for tourism in Paris. You can pay three, four or more times this rate to stay directly across from the Louvre, by why not stay just a very short block away for a small fraction of the price? The hotel itself is adequate -- it meets all my criteria, e.g., it's safe, clean, functional and friendly. It's not a trendy, sleek, hot-list hotel, but I didn't come all the way to Paris to admire my hotel room. Save your cash - Joanna

Great location of the hotel just 5 minutes from the louvre very close to the subway, line B in Châtelet - Les Halles goes to the Charles de gaulle airport costs €9 and takes about 40 minutes, the subway was VERY crowded when we went. And if you dont wanna pay €17 for your breakfast at the hotel you have lots of options on the street where you can get fresh baguettes and paninis or just sit down in a cafe and have a fresh croissant The hotel is close to everything since its basically in the - Marc

We stayed here for our honeymoon and we could not fault this hotel. The location is perfect, 2 mins to the Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre metro station and the Louvre, felt very safe walking around at night. It is not 5 star luxury but it was perfect for what we needed - something clean, comfortable and in a great location. Rooms are on the smaller side but very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a little odd with the toilet being on the opposite side of the room to the shower and sink but ever - Mark

This hotel was a wonderful find. It is located right by the Louvre, and walking distance to some of the best areas in Paris. It is also very close to several metro lines. The staff is friendly and accomodating, the rooms are huge and very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again and again. - Andrew

Over the last 2 years we have stayed in the hotel and most recently in one of their apartments. We lived like the French...shopping in the Rue Cler marketplace and eating in restaurants and our own apartment...just a block away from the hotel. It's the best of both worlds with the front desk there if you need anything...maid service every other day, and your own apartment in the charming Rue Cler area. We've stayed in Paris on 12 occasions and this is consistently our best experience whether in - Kareen

The hotel is in a great location to explore Paris. It was within easy walking distance of everything and the Metro was just around the corner if you wanted to explore further afield (its worth buying a Carnet {book of 10 tickets} for the metro as its much cheaper than buying individual tickets) The room was clean and the beds were v comfortable, although it was small. The staff were v friendly. I would definitely recommend the hotel as a base for exploring Paris the only warning I would give is - Jonathan

The hotel was very nice. Very good facilities if you want an inexpensive stay in Paris (your own cooker, pots, pans, cuttlery, TV, Stereo). Near to Montparnasse and Geite Metro station. Room is only cleaned once a week but there are laundry facilities on site. Room was a bit small but cosy. However, it was clean and had everything you wanted for a short stay! We booked this hotel based on reviews we read on the net about it's great location and helpful staff. We had room 36 which was at the back of the hotel. A small room but well appointed and clean and with airconditioning. Even though the building next door is being worked on we only heard a little noise during the day and were amazed at how quiet it was at night. We even left the window open overnight! The price was great too - we got an internet deal of only 110 Euros per night - a real ba - Mrs

I stayed here for almost two weeks in October 2009. I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and obliging. I stayed in two rooms because friends joined me halfway through my trip. Both rooms were very clean and exactly as expected. The hotel is not an American Hotel, so the rooms are smaller and the bathrooms are also not quite the same as we would expect from, say, a Hyatt. Nevertheless, for a european hotel it was excellent with plenty of space. Very clean and inexpensive. Can't say enou - Peter

Great small hotel with helpful staff, with good English. Fantastic location for Louvre, but also Musee d'Orsay and the metro. Pompidou centre not much further. The calm quiet elegant Gardens of Grand Palais are 50m away. Ask for directions to the shortcut through. Great to have air-conditioning that you have complete control of, and are able to open windows if you want. Requested and charged for two twins.
