Paris Hotels

Had mixed feelings about going to this hotel after reading a few of the most recent comments (booked 2 months earlier). There were no problems checking-in. The staff were very curteous and helpful even with our so-so French. We booked an apartment room with one double and a pull out bed. This was very clean and basically furnished with a small tidy kitchen area. Everything you need without being OTT. The view from our room was over a small courtyard, but this was no problem as we just used - Andy

My husband and I stayed three nights at the Hotel Queen Mary. Our room was a nice size with full bath. The room was on the fourth floor with two large windows facing the street. The street was small and quiet. The room was quiet, clean and nicely appointed. The staff at the Hotel Queen Mary, especially a young, brunette woman, was very helpful and friendly. We were walking distance from the Tuileries Gardens. I would definitley recommend this hotel. - Paul

I was plesently surprised by the decoration of lobby and common areas, like having your livingroom. Good to have tea and plan/review your day. The concierge service is of high value for restaurants recommendations, reservation and directions to get there (walking or subway); same for tours and shops. It saved us lots of time. The rooms were good size and nicely decorated. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast is from 7:00 am to 10:00 but they are flexible if you are a little late. Fresh croissants - Francisco

This was my 2nd stay at the Artus Hotel and I would never stay anywhere else while in Paris. The first trip was with my husband and this trip was with my sister (leaving husbands and children at home). We booked the Junior Suite and loved our spacious room and the gorgeous view from our balcony. Sanjay is an absolute treasure. A lovely hotel that was in a great location. We walked to everything but the metro is very close as well. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, clean. The room was very nice with flat screen tv, english channels and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and included in our stay. The people were very helpful and the price was great for this ideal location! We would stay again!!! - Fred

We stayed at this Best Western hotel for 4 nights in October. The location was ideal for walking to many places. The complimentary breakfast was good, rolls, coffee or chocolate, and some meats, eggs, fruits. It was serviced by a hard working young woman and the room was always busy. The hotel rooms were small but we had a fabulous view from the fifth floor of the tops of Sainte Chappelle and Notre Dame as well as Paris appartments roof tops. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Elysees Mermoz Hotel for a long weekend. We wanted to explore Paris and the hotel's central location was perfect - brilliant for walking from, jumping on the very nearby metro stops and a late night stroll along the Champs Elysee after dinner. Despite only conveniently being a few moments walk from the Champs Elysee, the location is also delightfully peaceful - very quiet for a great night's sleep after walking miles all over Paris! great location close to the palace and gov buildings! an amazing brassiere across the road- wow! try the french onion soup! clean and very spacious rooms. small hotel but staff v friendly and bfast does the job! overall a lovely hotel. a brilliant location for a city break. - Phyllis
