Paris Hotels

Granted it's almost a year since I visited the Bel-Ami, but I stayed here two years in a row--Dec 2007 and 2008--on one-week trips to Paris with my parents (who are in their late 60s/early 70s). If you want to be in St. Germain, the location of this friendly, stylish hotel can't be beat. Quaint side street just around the corner from the church and Les Deux Magots. Decor is modern, the staff is young and helpful, the breakfast room is lovely (and the breakfast itself is lovely too). Rooms are sm - Geoffrey

Experience Paris as you picture it. The essence of a memorable Paris Vacation is being located in a quaint location which is easily accessible to all the tourist attractions. The Best Western Premier Au Manoir Saint Germain De Pres is located in the Beautiful St. Germain district which is only a short walk from Notre Dame, and a short Metro ride from all the other attractions of Paris. This hotel was very quiet but located very close to metro station. It is very close to Louvre. There are many things to do in this area. This hotel had great staff. - Anonymous

I was a little nervous after reading the reviews of this hotel because they where really diverse, I stay there for 5 nights and i have just one word. Marvelous, this is the sort of hotel you wish to arrive in every city. The atmosphere in the hotel was warm and friendly, there is simply a warmth shown by the entire staff that makes the place inviting, the rooms were well appointed, very comfortable and spacious. Fantastic location that's safe to walk around at any time of night because always plenty of places open, lots of people, yet hotel quietly tucked away from noisy bit of Montmatre. Friendly staff, best freshly baked croissants I've ever had. Close to a great Irish Pub and fantastic restaurants. Close to Metro. I would book a double room next time, single room is small, but comfortable. No fridge but so many places within a few mins where you can buy reasonably priced drinks so dosn't matter. Love - Cheryl

We liked the location very much. The shopping centre opposite is very handy, the hotel is just next to the Metro, and there are lots of interesting places reachable on foot. We are not young but we walked to Chinatown, the Latin Quarter and the Jardin des Plantes, and took the metro if we wanted to go further. There are lots of super, very reasonable restaurants in Chinatown and some around the Place d'Italie itself. The hotel staff were very helpful - I was amazed that another reviewer had a ba - Jonny

Lovely little hotel. Entrance clean and modern - really like wall art in lobby!! Staff very helpful - we arrived very late. Room was also nice - we had booked a triple room, which was obviously a double 'converted' to a triple - a little 'cosy' but would have been fine as a double. Bathroom lovely. Towels changed on 2nd day. Handy fridge in wardrobe (for the bubbly!) and also a safe. Pity no proper air con though, or kettle. Unit was there, but was not working. Great location in quiet street within walking distance of Notre Dame with many restaurants and bars close by. Rooms are average size for Paris but comfortable with modern decor. They were very clean. All the staff are friendly and approachable. Andre speaks perfect English but is happy to let you practise your French. Staff on reception are very helpful. We will definitely return. - Adrian

This is a charming place, the continental breakfast was good and the cofee excellent. The neighborhood is quite nice with the hotel being on a pedestrian only street. The McDonalds on the corner has free Wi-Fi in the downstairs area and we would go there in the evenings to check our e-mail. There is a great mall with a food market one block up the street, a great bakery across the street, several wonderfull cafes. It was very convenient to the tourist areas but fun to be out of the mainstream. A - Michele

Spent 3 nights here with my husband for a short break. Hotel was lovely, very well positioned in a street with supermarket, patisseries, bars, restaurants, and very close to 3 metro stations. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room comfortable and both this and bathroom were extremely clean. Honesty bar serving free tea/coffee each afternoon was a lovely idea. Only thing missing was tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Did not eat breakfast in the hotel (we eat very little for breakfast - David

This hotel location was great, Near train and bus stops, near shuttle to and from airport, down the street from the Opéra Garnier , in walking distance from the Louvre Museum. Great Location, My husband and I used Paris Transit system to the max, riding the bus and train all over Paris. The hotel staff was great, every question we asked, they answered, very helpful staff ( map direction, cab service, room service ) The room was small but amazing, the bathroom was outstanding, from the fixture an - Annette
