The value for quality is excellent in a city where you often have to pay top price for mediocre accomodations and service. My room this time (302) was very quiet and facing the courtyard. Free - Hotel du Home Moderne is an excellent value, clean and comfortable with modern amenities. We were particularly impressed with the staff. Guillume and Jennifer, who manned the front desk, were outstanding. They always went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. At the buffet breakfast, Lore managed the breakfast room with efficiency and good humor. We also enjoyed the non-touristy neighborhood, which has lots of little shops and cafes and is conveniently located near transportation.

  Great hotel! Very friendly, helpful staff who all had great english. Rooms were cosy and clean, and had a lovely parisian atmosphere. Bathrooms were also large and very clean. Rooms had tea making facilities. Hotel was very centrally located, with a metro station only around the corner, aswell as many resturaunts, cafes and shops.   The location was excellent. The tree lined Rue Tronchet was one of the most beautifully streets we found in Paris. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and had a lot of charm.
