  Great location. The hotel offers more than enough free parking and it's only a 10 min walk from the city center (old town) and the sea organ which can't be missed. A beach is with-in 200 yards of the back of the hotel and the rooms are very clean and modern and very efficient a/C. Oh and the beds are a dream to lay on.   We didn't stay at the pansion, but by accident we neded up having dinner there the first of our four days in Zadar. And, we had the remaining three dinners there as well even though ít was a 10 minute ride from Zadar. Fantastic place - Everything. A delightful place in a beautiful situation. Charming staff. The restaurant was excellent.

  Great room in a perfect location. Very close to everything you need in Zadar. We especially liked the apartment/suite kitchenette and proximity to the fresh market, which helped us enjoy fresh figs and grapes, homemade olive oil and great Pag cheese for very little money.   I stayed here 4 nights with my elderly mother. We had a very relaxing time. It is a lovely location at the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner choices were very good (table service and 1 x buffet). I don't usually eat dinner at the hotels where I stay but was glad we did this time.   Everything! The hotel is immaculate, with huge bedrooms and bathrooms with attention to detail at every chance. Its very sytlish and modern but in keeping with the look and feel of the City. We booked Villa Zaratina based on cost and reviews alone, for the price we paid we didn't expect too much so were pleasantly surprised at the standards we received. The best way to describe it is it's like a hom - We had such a great experience in Villa Zaratina. The host, Maria, was really kind, helpful, and accomodating. Maria arranged transportation from the airport to the villa and when We arrived around midnight, she was there waiting for us. We got there pretty hungry and she took us downstairs to the kitchen and made us sandwiches, gave us drinks, and even home made wine and beer. She made us feel at home and welcome.   I had never heard of Zadar before seeing the location on Ryanair. The hotel room was of a good size, very clean, very comfortable and we paid an extra £10 per/night for a sea view which was worth it. The restaurant was elevated with excellent views across to the old town. We walked about 50 mins to the town centre past marinas and looking across ... what people say » the water to the old town. On another day we walked for about 2 hours in the opposite direction again numerous small marinas and again past hundreds o - The staff were amazing, answering all our queries, and helping us arrange fun things to do whilst in Zadar; the food was delicious, the best fish platter and best breakfast buffet all holiday, and really great room service, with champagne on arrival to celebrate our wedding anniversary overlooking the old town from our balcony. 9 kuna bus trip into town made this a nice quiet haven to relax after seeing the sites.
