Cavtat Hotels

We found this hotel just by luck. It's realy lovely as are the owners Zora and Mirko. Whatever you need or want they will get it for you. We actually got a mircowave in front or our room (8) so we could warm the night-milk for our daughter. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (in advance we had only planned to stay one or two. The rooms are very nice and decorated with eye for detail. - Nick

we had booked a ground floor apartment but on arrival was given room floor on the second floor and what a view of the bay. We had a small kitchenette and a bathroom and a balcony. We had two single beds- a double would have been nice. A good location, bit of a steep walk up the steps from the old town, but quiet at night and not far from supermarket and also the bus stop. Would certainly recommend it and the owners were very helpful. - Guillaume

We only had a room with en-suite bathroom, not an apartment but it was good value at 40 euros per night in high season. It was immaculately clean and great to have a fridge and hairdryer. As we were out and about every day it suited our needs but you wouldn't want to have spent much time in your room. as there was no balcony. The sky tv was in German, again we didn't plan to watch tv so weren't bothered but if you wanted to stay in at night this may be a problem for non-German speakers. You coul - Judith

Even better than it's excellent waterfront location, in central Cavtat, is Tea, one of the front desk staff at Hotel Supetar. Her quality service stands out about over others. She was warm and welcoming after a difficult beginning to our time in Cavtat (our prior booked accommodation no longer existed on our arrival in Cavtat ; so we went to Supetar for a room at the last minute). Always smiling, nothing was too much trouble for Tea, who each day enquired after us and was extremely supportive in - Richard

I recently stayed at the Sunrise Apartments for a duration of 14 nights. Stanka Vidak, who ran the hotel, was a gem! She made myself and my husband feel completely at home. On arrival she gave us so much information on Cavtat and the surrounding areas. The apartments were spotless and had everything you could ever need. We recently stayed overnight at House Radovic in Cavtat, Croatia. I suppose you would call it a hostel. We paid only €45 for a lovely double room with an en suite. There is a communal kitchen that everyone can use. It is in a good location - as Cavtat is quite near the airport there is a good bit of overhead noise but you get used to it after a while ! A young couple run it - very friendly and good English. Would definitely recommend it for overnight or indeed a longer stay. F & G - Richard

We returned from Apartment Bacan yesterday. The apartment was exactly as described and was spotlessly clean. The maid cleans daily and bed linen and towels are changed regularly. The owners are friendly and helpful and give good advice on getting about in Cavtat and the area generally. Antun collected us from the airport on our arrival and took us back there yesterday, for a very small charge. Very convenient. We have visited Hvar and Korcula during our stay, and Apartment Bacan is by far the - Simon

For self catering in wonderful Cavtat you cannot wish for better. Almost at the top of the hill, it is not for the unfit but my wife and I in our early 60's managed the walk 2 or three times a day. Anna the Manager, is tremendous and provides you with a fantastic loaf of bread (and it is) coffee, milk and jam. The apartments are spotless! No need to cook the restaurants in Cavtat range for very good upwards none are even poor! The Tourist Office near the bus station will arrange a very reliab - Gary
