  After a not-so-great experience with a booking at another apartaman, we decided to try our luck at getting a last-minute booking at Villa Gravić. Luckily, there was an affordable room with a beautiful view, and the owner was so friendly, kind and generous. She looked up ferries for us to take to Cres, told us about some good local restaurants, and... what people say » helped us with our plans around town. The villa is in the Diklo neighborhood, which is peaceful and reminded me of the small beach cities along the - Evanna the owner of villa gravic could not be more helpful when 17 of us landed at her door when she was expecting 10. She couldn't do enough to accommodate us and gave us great advice on local amenities. Half of our group were flying to Ireland at 6.45 am with the rest flying to the uk later that day. She provided a mini bus to the airport and let those leaving later check out late, both were much appreciated. This is a quiet family run block of apartments and would suit people looking for som

  The owner Marko and his family are incredibly hospitable and helpful. I stayed at the apartment for a whole month while on a Croatian language course and had quite a few needs but I never had to ask for anything twice. I felt very much at home in the apartment. The - The hosts Vinko (mr Kardum) and mrs Kardum were very warm and friendly. Even though they spoke little English they were very warm in making us feel welcome and telling us about themselves. Their service was excellent, we left some things at the apartment and they went out of their way to arrange the return of the things to us at our final destination before we departed Croatia. The apartment was newly renovated and was clean & comfortable with carpark. We really appreciate their assistance

  The apartment was clean and well-furnished with many thoughts given to guest comfort. The hosts offered to both meet us at the airport and return us to the airport at a fraction of the cost of a taxi. We were close to the beach and to markets where we could buy food to cook at home or bring on picnics.   We didn't stay at the pansion, but by accident we neded up having dinner there the first of our four days in Zadar. And, we had the remaining three dinners there as well even though ít was a 10 minute ride from Zadar. Fantastic place - Everything. A delightful place in a beautiful situation. Charming staff. The restaurant was excellent.

  The apartment was just as nice and clean as described. You can have a private parking place behind the house. The staff is really nice. Anything you could ask was no problem for them.   Great room in a perfect location. Very close to everything you need in Zadar. We especially liked the apartment/suite kitchenette and proximity to the fresh market, which helped us enjoy fresh figs and grapes, homemade olive oil and great Pag cheese for very little money. A bus service 5 and 8 runs on a circular route by the apartment - 10 kuna - £1 from outside the bus station where there is an airport connection - 25 kuna.   Our stay at Apartments Petra was wonderful. The hostess, Ileana, is so welcoming and gives great travel/sightseeing ideas. We were welcomed with lemoncello and enjoyed delicious cherry brandy (homemade!) the next day. We enjoyed an outdoor barbeque on her beautiful outdoor patio, and she spent time to help us get the fire started and everything... what people say » set up. The apartments are bit outside of downtown (about 10 min. drive), but she will call a very nice cab company that will take you to old town - We had the perfect hostess--extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. She welcomed us to Zadar with some homemade cherry brandy and some juice for our daughter, as well as maps of Zadar and restaurant recommendations (which were excellent). Location is within 5 minutes driving from old town Zadar. Be aware, though, that gps will not find the location for you so it's a good idea to look up on Google maps or contact the hotel for directions. It is not at all hard to find or access--just on a

  This is my third time visiting Zadar, and Apartments Aurora was perfect. Market literally around the corner and plenty of restaurants in all directions. The beach was less than five minutes away.
