Great location. The hotel offers more than enough free parking and it's only a 10 min walk from the city center (old town) and the sea organ which can't be missed. A beach is with-in 200 yards of the back of the hotel and the rooms are very clean and modern and very efficient a/C. Oh and the beds are a dream to lay on. I don't understand any of the negative reviews about this hotel being dated, it couldn't be anymore 21st century if it tried.

We liked the room with balcony of the Adriatic Sea. A little bit of a walk but no problem getting to old town. Also, you can walk to hotel from bus station. Breakfast was very good. Location on the water to promenade to the old city was excellent - 15 minutes. Hotel check in and out was without problems and the breakfast very enjoyable. Zadar was a surprisingly nice, historical city and the hotel location was perfect. The room was nice and bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious with a very comfy bed and breakfast was abundant!. Hotel has a great location just next to the beach, and having a swimming pool is definitely a nice addition. Rooms are relatively soundproof - but the airconditioning and refrigerator are so noisy that it actually does not matter. At 10 o'clock sharp closed restaurant. The covered metal waste basket in the bathroom with the push pedal that didn't work, which made me kneel down to open by hand every time I needed to throw away something. Hotels need to stop using these archaic waste baskets:(. The price could be lower compared with other hotels. But I guess they can that is why. Smokey smell; average food at breakfast buffet; outdated decor. room was small. A little pricey... Single rooms from what I saw were very small. Price for what was offered eg in comparison to what i paid in Radisson in Dubrovnik. Food poor. Probably good value for those on tours but not for someone booking for himself. Quite pricey and overrun with package tour groups. The hotel is certainly wearing off, as so many customers here noticed. It is more like you are staying in the 90-s museum - with chipping bathroom ceiling, not working pedal bin basket, CRT TV, and very very unconmfortable pillows. Not all the staff at the reception desk understands English, though they would pretend that they understand, but they don´t. Also be careful if you happened to modify your booking - the staff does not keep record of that and causes chaos when checking out. Heating controls not working. Fridge buzzing all night. Brickwork on the balcony blocking veiws. Totally impersonal hotel. Travel lodge standard at four times the price. What a joke, back to the seventies!, old and run down. No fitness area, I asked and was told to go running outside (30 degrees?!), only small single beds I wouldn't fit in.Breakfast was poor.Worst hotel I stayed in in a long time, 4 stars? you need a very large imagination. Cleaning! All about cleaning!.
