Zadar Hotels

Our stay at the Adriana Select Hotel in Zadar was the highlight of our trip to Croatia. The suite we had was very comfortable with a view of the lovely hotel gardens, pine trees and beach beyond. Meals were taken on the charming terrace: service and food was very good and wine inexpensive. The hotel is a short drive from Zadar old town, but be aware that it is not walkable distance. One other thing: the “sister” hotel next door is very noisy and seemed a very different proposition… - Simon

As it is writen in other comments, this hotel is really good "value for money". I am still in this hotel and i am writing from my netbook and that is actually only complaint which i have (must pay for WiFi). My wife and me were here for 14 days together with our children. We are absolutely satisfied with all aspects of our vacation: room was with nice sea view, big enough for us four, all-inclusive arrangement on the bar was from 10 to 22 (nice red wine there!), children had fun in min - John

Stayed here in October with a 14 and 19 year old. I guess when I booked room for 2 adults and 1 child they assumed husband and wife scenario so we got a double bed and 1 single. Absolutely no problem changing and we got a beautiful 2 bedroomed suite with sea view at no extra charge. Room cleaned, sheets changed and fresh towels every day. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. Reception staff wonderful and efficient and 1 member of spa staff (I think she is Australian) is just a gem. S - John

This a lovely little family-run hotel, close to the beach in Zadar and only a few minutes bus journey to the town centre. We stayed there at the beginning of our two week holiday in Croatia. The Rogalo family could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. They arranged to pick us up from the airport and gave us lots of helpful information and advice. We enjoyed staying there so much we went back to spend a night there at the end of our two week break. - Adam

We stayed here on our honeymoon and couldn't have been more delighted. The location is absolutely perfect -- it's the only hotel in the entire Old City of Zadar, which is where all of the sights, restaurants, etc., are located. While most of the Old City is pedestrian-only, you can reach the hotel by car and park right outside -- you drive atop the centuries-old city wall to get there, which is a cool experience in and of itself. We stayed at Hotel Porto for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were more than willing to help us get transportation to the bus station the next day. They were also very prompt with emails. The room was clean, simple, and neat. The breakfast was okay, but not super. The location is not the best. It is a shiny new building in an industrial type area. It is close to the airport though. We arrived in Zadar late at night and ended up walking from the bus stop in the dark...quit - James

I stayed here 2 nights in July at the beginning and end of a walking holiday on Dugi otok. The owner Nico, his family and staff were so helpful, friendly and the rooms were modern, clean and large . Had a wonderful breakfast with choice of sitting inside or on the terrrace overlooking the Adriatic. Had dinner on last night and it was superb. Although on my own Hotel staff and Nico made you feel part of what was going on . I would highly recommend this Hotel which although further outside Zadar - Judith

We stayed at the Villa Triana in May 2009, what a fantastic place to stay , the welcome givento us on arrival and throughout our stay was just brillaint. Triana gives each guest all the information needed to find your way around, maps, bus timetables, location of bus stops, restaurants, organising trips. The hospitality we received was second to none, there is nothing that Triana wont help you with. Our return flight was late in the evening and we requested holding on to our room for longer than - Shazia
