Porec Hotels

Like some previous reviewers, we arrived here after a tiring week touring Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and were looking for a restful time. The Crystal Hotel was just right for this. All staff were friendly and welcoming and we found all areas were spotlessly clean. The service we receive could not have been better. The room was really quiet, very clean and the sheets, towels and soaps etc were changed/refilled regularly. The only minor problem we had was being unable to receive sound on one of - Maureen

The Diamant is a great hotel to stay at. The staff are all friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Things didn't get off to a great start when we arrived at 11.30 a.m. and our room wasn't ready. I guess that was a little early as check out is 10 a.m. Our initial room wasn't to our liking as there was a big air conditioning unit right outside the window and no view to speak of. However we were moved straight away when we said we were unhappy. Once moved, our room was great and very qui - Esther

Have already recommended this to several people. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Weather can be changeable in June. The pool is not deep which is obviously better for children. The sea is a few minutes walk and there are ladders into the water. It is better to wait for breakfast until the early rush is over - likewise for the evening meal. The short walk into the beautiful resort of Porec was beautiful along the coast. - David

My wife and I,being 'older parents',with two teenage children,left for our holiday in Croatia with the usual great expectations,expecting the usual great disappointment! We were pleasantly surprised by the good,quick flight,with plenty of legroom,and great on board food. This was just the start of the best holiday ever spent by us! Pula airport was quick,uncrowded,and we were on board the airconditioned coach within half an hour! More was to come,however; our arrival at the lovely Hotel La - Beth

There is the hotel on western side of the peninsula Istria, in a very nice blue gulf, in a holiday center. We have been alredy at least four times there. The hotel is very nice, elegant, however it is medium class. With a wonderful view to the crystal-clear water of the gulf. Out and inside it is gleaming and spotless. There is a pleasant, spacious, air-conditioned restaurant, with wealthy and tasty dishes. The hotel is having basin and grassy garden with shadowy woods. The sun-beds are free. Th - Gary

My husband and I have just spent 2 great weeks at the Zelena Albatros Hotel. For the first week we were the only 2 English guests but everyone was very friendly towards us.((mostly Russians and Germans) Our room was spacious and was kept very clean, fresh towels supplied every day. The Staff especially in the bars and restaurant were all very pleasant and friendly and helped make our stay a memorable one. We were entertained each evening with a live group which played until 11.30 each evening - Sami

Having been to Croatia serveral times, albeit different areas, we expected the usual excellent standard of cleanliness, friendliness and food and this area and hotel lived up to it! The location is superb - all the bars and restaurants etc. If you want a quiet secluded day at the beach, just pop over to the island for free. The staff in the hotel are without exception the most pleasant, helpful people you could meet - and they didn't even laugh at us trying to speak Croatian! The food is mind - Anthony

First time in Croatia and definately not our last. We were hoping to return in October but couldnot get a booking. et in idylic surroundings away from any noise it is great for people who want to get away. No pubs,clubs,british bars, souvenier shops or supermarkets selling cheap booze. No 'entertainment' no widescreen t\v showing football. No night club rowdies , no drunken teenagers.
