  We greatly enjoyed our stay at Villa Lika the night before we hiked through Plitvice National Park. Eva and Ante, two of the employees, were absolutely fantastic - Eva checked us in and was happy to help us carry our luggage up a few flights of stairs to our room. The Mixed Meat was fantastic and the Goulash was pretty good - The hotel is like 50m from a local bus station and 20-30 min walk to the entrance of the Plitvice Lake National Park, making it fairly well located for its price. The young girl who works there (no, though the 3 women there may look like 3 generations of a family to some, but they're not) is such a dear, she would go out of her way to accommodate guests' need and tried to chat up with all guests using different languages. We did not plan it in advance and we had no reservation at any hostel, so after three hours looking for accomodation we found ourselves with no place to sleep! I just wanted to thank the staff of Pansion Winnetou for being so helpful because altough they didn't have any vacancy at their place, a... what people say » nd that it was really late they managed to find a great apartment for us! Thanks for everything, maria and Josep. - The staff was very nice and very friendly. Room and bathroom were clean and renovated. It is easy to find and few minutes driving from Plitvicka Jezera. The restaurant/kitchen is opened on evening and ordered food was delicious. We recomend to stay there and for sure try restaurant.

  Nice room; the one we had on the top floor fit 3 people (one double and a single) and had a little mini fridge in the bathroom. Lots of space for just the two of us. Wifi was a little slow but it was connected most of the time. There was a small balcony which was nice. The older lady who received us was very nice and explained the different tra - Villa Vuk is located within walking distance of one of the entrances to Plitvice Lakes. It's situated in a small community on a property with lots of trees and free parking. Our hostess, Olivia was very friendly and helpful, showing us a map of how to get to the lakes, and a nearby restaurant and grocery store. Her place is extremely clean, had a separate entrance, a comfortable bed and a little balcony overlooking her backyard. We enjoyed our stay at Villa Vuk and would recommend it to anyone

  A very smart place, impeccably maintained and cleaned (at least early season when we went). Great outdoor area and large car park. The room was basic and compact but pleasant. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower worked well. It's 20-25 mins walk from the Villa to the entrance of the Plitvice Park (quite steep so if you're average fitnes... what people say » s or above you'll be ok). Breakfast at this Villa was nice enough but charged extra at 6 EURO per day per person which seems a lot in Croatia for cont - It was a really beautiful little residence and the owner was so sweet and wanting to make our stay so comfortable. It was very close to Entry 1 of Plitvice lakes, only a short drive for us, but it wouldn't have been a long walk either. There was a small eating place across the street which made the largest pizza's I've ever seen. Overall a perfect place to stay after or before the lakes.

  Food was excellent! Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was really nice and friendly. Owner of the hotel gave us really great tips and informations about the Park. I speaked with owner and he told me about his plans of improving services and I really like it.   We had a nice stay! Room was quite comfortable, though a little small. If you are planning to Roam around the Lakes and just crash here, it is a great room. The place is about a 15 minute walk from the National park, if you know the short-cut, which the owner was kind enough to tell us. We got breakfast for 7 euros extra (per person). The room h - Nice guesthouse with a good location, a two-minute walk from the local bus stop where you can go to other cities, no ticket office and just go there twenty minutes before, you can buy a ticket from the staff there, the restaurant opposite is good, though the twenty-minute walk to and from the park entrance is a bit tiring especially after walking for a day in the national park, it saves you money

  We really liked our stay at the Pension, even if it was only 3 days. The location was really close ( around 10 minutes walking ) to one of the entrances of the Plitvice lakes. Really nice nature around. The conditions are really good in the house as it also offers Satellite TV, BluRay player etc... The owner was really kind to us surprising us all the time with coffee ready and served any time one wo - This is a great place and we have enjoyed our two-day stay immensely. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, tastefully designed and really clean. It is very conveniently located and easy to find. The landlady is quite helpful - always available, but unobtrusive. She was a great help with our sometimes-not-that-interested- in-hiking-around-the-lakes kids, and fun to talk to in the evenings. Great breakfast is served in a delightful garden, and there is a good restaurant just minutes away.
