  Astoria is ancient hotel with good tradition of services. Helpful and attentive staff, comfortable and lovely room, location in the centre - near Opera, museums, nice restaurants and cafe. Wonderful staying! We are more than happy with that choice. Besides we booked executive double room but finally were granted junior suit as it shown on the pictu... what people say » re. - The location of this hotel is ideal, two minutes walk to the nearest underground. The staff are friendly and very helpful. You can buy your underground tickets from the reception desk. We had a large bedroom, with sofa and armchair (the sofa became a double bed which my 8 year old son slept on) Children up to the age of 12 stay for free.

  I was delighted to discover this excellent hotel right in the centre of Vienna, immediately opposite the Stephansdom. My room was surprisingly quiet even though it overlooked the large plaza with so much outdoor activity going on.   Good, spacious apartment in a very central location close to the main pedestrian area. Very quiet. Convenient for sights, museums, restaurants, cafes and shopping. We had Apartment 603 (Deluxe Studio) which is on an upper floor and so gets lots of light. The staff were very helpful and offered a late check-out to suit our flight. Wi-fi is on - The location is excellent; just a few blocks from St. Stephens and the same from the Danube and Ringstrasse in three directions. The studio was large and one whole wall has windows that open. A good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. The room was simply but nicely appointed and the small galley kitchen was sufficient for our needs.
