A 'must consider place' for anyone looking for good, quiet, convenient accommodation. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable - and just a short walk to the town centre. Very close to the airport and so convenient - walking distance. I felt safe landing alone very late at night and saved on taxi/mini bus expenses. Breakfast in bed early in the morning on day of departure at no further expense. Fabulous cooked breakfast. All the staff were very helpful and courteous. - so close for gatwick airport wihout getting wet

It was very reasonably priced, especially considering everything that was included. The location was great - only a 5-10 min drive to the airport, and very close to Horley train station. A driver picked me up from the station upon arrival, and the hotel ordered and paid for a taxi to take us to Gatwick airport. The bathroom was exceptionally clean

Martin was very accommodating when our travel plans went awry and gave us a warm welcome despite our late arrival. We were treated to tasty local delicacies for breakfast.

This is certainly 5 star, I cannot speak highly enough of the comfort, catering, cleanliness and the host Martin cannot do enough to make yo feel like home from home. Every facility provided i.e Easy private parking, hairdryer, microwave, WiFi, power shower. , will even clean your shoes should you ask!!!!!! Will definitely recommend this hostelry

I love this hotel and the owners and staff they make you feel like you are part of the family. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and will be back there soon. I prefer to stay here then in London. With a great pub near by with great food. I left my teddy bear there and the kept him for me (yes I said Teddy bear) on my way back with a short pause between airports the brought him to me and would not take any money for the delivery now thats family. We firstly were taken aback by the friendly welcome we recieved on
arriving a bit later than expected at 11pm with a 1 yr old and a 4 yr
old & 16 yr old ,after a 6 hour drive that should have taken us 4hrs
, we were all tired to say the least !!! , and bar staff gave us some
milk for the baby for the morning as we ran out enroute ! ( god
send)

All the staff were excellent, especially Will on Reception who sorted us out with some extra pillows.
The bed was comfortable, although the room was a little warm (it has no air-conditioning), the food was very good and also excellent value.
The hotel has some lovely outdoor space, including a duckpond with some beautiful black swans and is set back from the road, so there is no traffic noise to disturb your sleep.

Was really impressed with this little hotel, which is really rooms above a pub. Wasn't expecting the rooms to be so spacious and well appointed. I arrived very early and was greeted warmly and fortunately was able to book in immediately as my room was vacant.Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
The room was very clean and warm. I loved the crisp white linen.Perfect position for my needs right in the centre of this delightful village.I will return later in the year with my husband.

Lovely house, pleasant owners/staff, but above all, the location. Next to Gatwick Airport (but very quiet) and very near local railway station with frequent trains to London (45 min. journey). Also, only a couple of minutes' walk from local shops, pubs, restaurants, banks, supermarket, etc. Ideal for Gatwick flights and visiting the capital without paying London hotel prices, esp. if travelling with children.
