The owner, Sarah, couldn't do enough for us, including contacting us before we went to discuss such things as how high we would want the heating in the room to be, what the options for breakfast were, and loads of information about places to visit nearby. Our room was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go - Fordwater is a home away from home. As a lone business traveler it was important for me to feel comfortable which I did. I was looked after very well, the service from (before) you arrive to the day you leave is excellent. It is extremely clean with spacious rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the owner makes sure that she tailors everything to your needs. I have been back 2 times and will be re-booking for another business trip this week.

  I loved the comfy, cosy environment of a home-style B&B. The delicious tea tray in my room was a lovely addition. I had such a very warm welcome from the owner and their friendly dog.   Everything. The patrons were extremely friendly & helpful. The location was 1st class regarding access to Gatwick and views of the countryside. Beautiful house and extremely clean. Breakfast superb. Parking facilities first class and not expensive. Transport to and from Trumbles very very reasonable.   We appreciated the airport transport provided and the flexibility to be able to accomodate a change in timing. We appreciated that the proprietors were responsive to our needs and without our prompting looked ahead to help us plan for a supper venue. The only disappointment for us was that leaving so early in the morning we did not get to eat the full English breakfast.
