Martin was very accommodating when our travel plans went awry and gave us a warm welcome despite our late arrival. We were treated to tasty local delicacies for breakfast.

This is certainly 5 star, I cannot speak highly enough of the comfort, catering, cleanliness and the host Martin cannot do enough to make yo feel like home from home. Every facility provided i.e Easy private parking, hairdryer, microwave, WiFi, power shower. , will even clean your shoes should you ask!!!!!! Will definitely recommend this hostelry

Was really impressed with this little hotel, which is really rooms above a pub. Wasn't expecting the rooms to be so spacious and well appointed. I arrived very early and was greeted warmly and fortunately was able to book in immediately as my room was vacant.Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
The room was very clean and warm. I loved the crisp white linen.Perfect position for my needs right in the centre of this delightful village.I will return later in the year with my husband.

Mary is really lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Mary keeps rescue parrots which are allowed to roam free which was fantastic but they are not noisy. Mary also has two cats and several rabbits. The bedrooms, bathroom are very clean and the house has a lovely old charm to it. Breakfast was five star. -

It was very reasonably priced, especially considering everything that was included. The location was great - only a 5-10 min drive to the airport, and very close to Horley train station. A driver picked me up from the station upon arrival, and the hotel ordered and paid for a taxi to take us to Gatwick airport. The bathroom was exceptionally clean

The owner was very very helpful getting train timings for my daughter who was travelling from London to join us. He made sure there was a veggie breakfast available. And as we were leaving played a fanfare on the trumpet for my daughter who was graduating that day. Very friendly and extremely accomodating. -

We firstly were taken aback by the friendly welcome we recieved on
arriving a bit later than expected at 11pm with a 1 yr old and a 4 yr
old & 16 yr old ,after a 6 hour drive that should have taken us 4hrs
, we were all tired to say the least !!! , and bar staff gave us some
milk for the baby for the morning as we ran out enroute ! ( god
send)

All the staff were excellent, especially Will on Reception who sorted us out with some extra pillows.
The bed was comfortable, although the room was a little warm (it has no air-conditioning), the food was very good and also excellent value.
The hotel has some lovely outdoor space, including a duckpond with some beautiful black swans and is set back from the road, so there is no traffic noise to disturb your sleep.
