  Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport. I will go again. - I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

  Location is terrific. Design of building takes advantage of harbor side location. Convenient to walking the town & to public transportation. Nice hotel shop with reasonable prices. - The location was perfect. We took the trolley tour which was right next door. The restaurant and bar had good food and reasonable prices.

Very happy they have shuttles taking you onto Thames St. Ordered fried calamari and it was very, very good! We are a middle aged couple who just decided to take off midweek for a quick trip to the cape/Newport etc. Staff was so friendly, helpful and courteous. We were within 2 minutes walking distance to some of the best food in newport - and the beach was right across the street
